Ex-F&F's a Big Hit

While F&F continues to struggle in search for goals, former players such as Fatah van Der Vaart(Wizurai), Fauzan "Makan Tanah"(Black Emperor), and Saeed "Cap"(Victory) found the back of the net for their respective teams. Each of them managed to register one goal and star performer, Fauzan, scored two goals for Black Emperor.

F&F lost their key players as Fauzan and Saeed who was on loan last season with F&F. Fatah on the other hand is said to be considering an early retirement due to other commitment and wanting to rest his knees before having surgery shocked everyone from F&F when he played and scored for Wizurai.

Mido and Midi in London.
Without doubt, F&F clearly miss their services and player manager Samir Aie is still not giving up hopes to scout for an out-n-out striker. There are rumors in the team that Aie is on the verge of signing Mido and Midi both from Middle East. Mido is one of the stars in MMU Team while Midi has just arrived in MMU. Both players are currently on free agent. Mido will be a perfect signing for the team as he can create and score goals where as Midi, the brother of Mido is a centre back.

F&F Defender Riza Relishing First Team Opportunity

F&F young Kedahan defender is looking forward to an opportunity to prove his worth in the Champions League next week.

F&F will be attempting to improve their game after a goalless draw against Phlamez when they face Dettol FC [11 March] that will be a much anticipated match up.

A tough task is further complicated by the fact that F&F players have other commitment, with at least an eye on MASUM intervarsity league and also Prima Futsal tournament. The players are tired and in need a long holiday after this season are over hoping to end this season on a high.

Young full-back Riza, already a full Kedahan state player at the tender age of 19, feels that the selection gives squad players like him a real chance to impress, especially as a good performance also provides a chance of place in the squad for coming matches.

"Whatever team gets selected [on 11 March] it's a great chance for us," Riza told the club's official blog."It's a big game. The fans will get behind us and hopefully we'll make it an event to remember at MMU."Any game you play is important and this is a big one, the match-up against Dettol FC, a chance to progress, you need to take any chance to impress.

"For the 11 players, who start against Dettol, only one game will matter and that's the game we face. We can't look forward, we've a job to do because we want to progress."The Kedahan is certainly not underestimating match-up against Dettol, though. “It will be tough, we've seen how good they were in the friendlies," Riza added.

"We experienced something similar in the League last season - if you get a goal you can build momentum and you saw what happened."We need to get at them from the first whistle and take it from there. If we are positive and believe we can win, we've got every chance."

Drunken Manchester United Fans Roam Milan City Centre

A group of drunken Malaysian supporters have left the centre of Milan “looking like a cemetery of bottles and cans”.

The build-up to the much-awaited Inter-Manchester United Champions League tie at San Siro has been overshadowed by the news that a group of Malaysian supporters have gone on a drunken rampage in the centre of Milan. Among them are F&F players Nadeem, Zul Rossi, Boynaldo and one out of place Dettol FC player Anis Ahmad.

The incident took place at just past 1700 CET, when a large group of United supporters stormed the city, and in particular the bars in the Piazza Duomo. One witness saw Nadeem enjoying his dinner there with 3 set of large burgers and a handful of nachos.

The Piazza has been described by witnesses as looking like “a cemetery of bottles and cans”. Zul Rossi was seen lying on the floor hugging a waitress. Meanwhile, Anis Ahmad was playing black jack with his long time Bengali friends.

The last hardcore group to leave the scene were said to be completely intoxicated on drink, dancing and singing deafeningly loudly, and struggling to walk in a straight line as they attempted to get onto the subway.

A few fans also caused trouble when they jumped in the way as some Japanese tourists attempted to take a photo. Witness said Nadeem was the worse of them all, as he was camera freak.[Have to wait for the picture to be tag in FB]

This is not the first time where there have been reports of F&F Manchester fan trouble abroad, and many will be hoping that there are no further complications inside the stadium.

Proud Azim "Pelekat" refusing to get carried away

F&F might have gone more than 4 matches without conceding a goal in all competitions since the establishment of F&F but a proud Azim “Pelekat” believes the title is still far from won and rather than rest on his laurels insists: "It is time to kick on".

0-0 result from the first MMU Champions League match against Phlamze, not only saw them having kept the clean sheet for more than 300 minutes in 5 matches since their first match against SDX FC last season, but also unbeaten in all competitions.

Azim “Pelekat” has now claimed a MMU record for the longest amount of time without conceding a goal, with the seasoned Jawanese sure to keep the F&F defence on their toes when Dettol FC head to DragonForce Stadium, the home of F&F on March 18.

''The record is a great motivation for the players, particularly Azim,'' said Samir Aie. ''He has everyone jumping out of their skin at the moment.'' Azim also quote “It has been all about team work, without it F&F would not be crowned the MMU Cup champion. With Ferdinadeem commanding the defence, it makes me confident and my job as a goalkeeper easier.”

Azim got into the football stardom when his was signed by Ferdinadeem to play for the Legendary Star-studded team, Kayu FC which conquered most of the competitions in MMU during 2004-2007. His form back then was inconsistent but enough to impress MMU Coach, Faizal “Botak”.

Since been dropped from MMU team, Azim played as centre back for Sepang-nyol in his short stint. He started to play his ideal position again when he was signed by Aie to play for F&F and it proved a vital decision to make his mark again in the campus stage.

“I have nothing to prove to anyone because I want to enjoy my time playing football and I want to announce my decision to retire from MMU team to concentrate on club competitions.”, Azim talking to press conference when he was unveiled as F&F goalkeeper.

Aie : F&F On Lookout For New Striker

MMU, February 24 (MMU Champions League) - F&F are on the lookout for a new striker, player manager Aie has revealed.Currently we're lacking in attacking options and in need to boost the teams moral with a new signing of a striker.

Aie told the Kosmo newspaper that the F&F giants remains on the look-out for a striker despite their embarrassment of riches up front.

Vietnam international Boynaldo has often found himself frozen out of the first team behind regular striker Hamka, but that has not stopped Aie from exploring options elsewhere.

"We have a lot of contacts with many people because we communicate with our scouting network on a regular basis," he said. "There are lots of talented players out there who we are keeping an eye on."

"It is a terrible situation to go into the season with only two strikers. We have also got Zul Rossi and Nadom Onuoha as alternatives who can play more advanced positions.

"We now have five or six days to see if it is necessary to do something [in March]."

"The board and I discussed very regularly and we do talk about names, obviously."

"We are observing a lot, not just within MMU."

Nadom Onuoha Rediscovering His Form At F&F As A 'Wingback'

Nadom Onuoha continues to make his critics eat their words with his recent stunning run of form and it is all thanks to a new playing position.

It’s not a role or a terminology too renowned outside of MMU. They call it the Left Back or Wing-Back, a high-lying defender or winger who plays neither as a defender nor a midfielder.

The role was defined best by Roberto Carlos in La Liga back in the 90’s. Evra made the position his own at Manchester later that decade, while Clichy has now assumed that mantle with Arsenal today.

Over in MMU, it’s a role that Nadom has inherited in his last two games for F&F: a 1-1 draw with SDX and a 0-0 encounter against Phlamez just last Monday. He hasn't scored any goal but his contribution in these two matches has been extraordinary, showing a few promising crosses and hard tackling in that position just as his idol who is currently playing for Manchester City, Nedum Onuoha. Clearly the resemblance in name could not be contradicted with their style of playing.

Kosmo daily, believes that the reason he has hit such a rich vein of form is because player manager, Aie, has turned him into a wing-back to accommodate Fer'deem'nand in the first XI to partner Nabeelja as the two main center defenders, and to a certain extent, to make shift for the number of defender they have in the team.

The 24-year-old has played in countless other positions throughout his career so far, including as a goalkeeper. But he has found immediate success in his new role, one that is not foreign to Aie.

Against Dettol FC in the coming weeks in the MMU Champions League, and indeed any forthcoming matches in the competition this campaign, Nadom will continue his usual function as a left wing-back.

He will alternate with Riza to play up-left and to drop deep to defend while returns to his usual wide position. With Aie and Zul K dead-set to start as the double pivot, Aie’s only dilemma now choosing between Abby and Hamka to occupy the left flank.

As for Nadom is concerned, there is no doubt that there's more to come from this aging defender.

Match Report: F&F and Phlamze share point

It was a physical encounter for both teams but only one yellow card was brandished throughout the full 90 minutes. The match could be more exciting if both linesmen made the right decision for offside. Both teams had an equal share of possession and the ball was mostly played at centre of the pitch. Last season's MVP, Boy P was a surprise inclusion in the team to play his last match for F&F before flying back to his hometown in Sabah.

F&F were shaky at the start of the game which the defence could not get the ball to their midfields resulting a few throw-ins against them but 10 minutes into the game it was game on for both teams. F&F midfielders were blazing through Phlamze's tough defence and nearly drew the first blood when skipper, Aie crossed the ball to the far post on the left side of the pitch only for debutant veteran winger, Abby, to miss-timed his diving header.

The match saw anchor men from both teams performing well for the teams as they broke down most of the attacking play. As expected, Jon did his job as usual but Zul K, has been promoted to the defensive midfield position to protect the back four, was impressive as well where he was running all over the pitch to break down Phlamze's attacking play and even joined Aie and Boy P blazing against Phlamze's defence.

Ferdinadeem and Nabeelja Vidic combined well at the centre of defence with their hard tackling and physical play that none of the Phlamze's rookie strikers manage to get a single shot on goal.

In the second half, Riza came on for Abby, Zul Rossi now playing on the left wing with Nadom Onuoha playing on the right wing. It was merely a dull second half, as both teams looked tired eventhough F&F did get couple of shots on goal and won few corners but none of it resulting a goal. Phlamze nearly killed the game in the injury time when they won a corner. Jon got away from his marker to head the ball but Azim caught the ball safely into his arms. In the end, both teams get a hold on one point.

Match Preview: Flames and Phlamze set to blaze the pitch

Fire&Flames VS Phlamze
MMU Stadium Kickoff:1745

Today's match will see 2nd ranking Phlamze play against MMU Cup Champion, F&F at MMU Stadium for Group D opening match. Group D a.k.a "Group of Death", comprises of Cyber Heat, Dettol FC and new-comer Supa Strikaz, but due to the global recession that has affected many clubs around the continent, they pulled out from the tournament at the eleventh-hour.

Phlamze have been enjoying success for the past two seasons by winning the 2nd Division title and MMU Losers' Pool Final. Phlamze's main strengths are their defence and the influence of their tireless midfielder,Jon, an outcast from Phlamze's arch rival,Salsa FC. In an interview with Kosmo, Jon was quoted saying "The match today will be an exciting one because F&F has blazed through other teams with their star players last season to win the MMU Cup, but this season the team is without Boy P, Alwi, Saeed, Charles, Fatah, Fauzan and Esa. Their midfield is completely depleted now, but their defense is still the meanest of all. We will try to penetrate through the middle of the park as Saeed not there anymore to shield their back four which didn't concede any goal last season."

F&F has strengthen their midfield with the signing of veteran winger Abby a.k.a "Brader Lecturer", experienced midfielder Hamka "Scar Forehead" and skillful winger Wan Poi a.k.a "Body Tough Got Kepak". Skipper Aie also signed Nabeelja Vidic and Paan Dossena to back up the defence. Meanwhile, Eski Raul is expected to arrive next month just before the transfer window's deadline with a Bosman deal. F&F played 4 pre-season games to keep up the rhythm in the team.

"There are several changes made to make up the loss of midfielders and strikers. We have tried our new-look engine at the centre of the park against SDX FC last Sunday and depending on the fitness and injuries, I'm not worried." Aie speaking to John Dykes(ESPN) in a quick interview.

Abby "Brader Lecturer" has yet to play for the team but he will definitely play some part today either from the start or coming on from the bench.

Aie has put faith in Boynaldo to score goals by making him the lone striker this season. There were rumours saying Nadom Onuoha and Indonesian pride midfielder, Hamka will be the strike force for the match today. We will have to wait and see this evening on what formation and line up the skipper is tinkering for this match. Kayu FC legendary defender, Ben Beckenbauer will be watching the match from the VIP Box to watch some of his former Kayu FC team mates such as Ferdinadeem, Nabeelja Vidic, Zul Rossi, Azim Pelekat, Zul K and Boynaldo perform today.

F&F Must Beat Dettol FC By Two Goals - Hamka

The Indonesian midfielder admitted it will be icing on the cake to beat Dettol….

Hamka acknowledged this morning that even though they struggled to score in friendlies against Dettol and SDX FC, F&F is going all out to play against their main rival Dettol FC. Hamka was on loan with Dettol FC last season and admitted that it was a bitter memory to go on loan there.

F&F managed to persuade Hamka to join them on loan for a season long deal with the option to sign a permanent deal if his performance reflects his credibility in and out of the field.Hamka told Kosmo how his side will fight for the title, even though it looks like a tough task as they are drawn in a group of death.

"We have a very good team with a lot of quality. Our group are tough and we cannot do anything besides win our matches," he mused.

"We always have to think that we can win it because if we play to be second, it would not go well."

After the game with Phlamez tomorrow, F&F will be up against Dettol FC for their second match.

For Hamka, it will be a familiar encounter from his time with Staff, and one that he wants to win this time.

"Dettol are a mediocre team, but they have a good spirit and know how to win matches. It is important to score first against them and demoralized their spirit." said Hamka.

Lastly, he acknowledged that he would be very keen to sign Tompel from Staff because he likes 'players who are on the wings and creative'.

F&F Officials Talking To Ameer Tevez To Conclude Adli’s Deal - Report

The F&F have had enough of beating around the bushes and they mean business...

F&F will send director Fatahuddin on Thursday and his mission will be to close a deal for high-flying goalkeeper, Adli.

Fatah and two of the club's lawyers will meet Ameer after tomorrow's clash against Phlamez in order to convince Ameer to part company with Adli the Flying Italian.

The Sun claims vice-president Nabila has instructed her men to pack their brief cases and bring him back some good news on Friday. According to reports, the F&F's entourage will sit down and hold crucial talks with Dettol side and they will try to swing the deal in their favour.

So far any attempt from F&F has been swatted away by Dettol’s officials, who are playing hardball. Dettol are not satisfied with the offers they are hearing so far and they are holding out for more money.

Adli has always stated his desire to play with F&F despite Dettol’s player manager Ameer still hopeful of his service.

Adli's departure is also flamed by the recent bust-up during one of Dettols' friendly game.

The F&F are still confident of reaching an agreement with Dettol side in order to avoid further complications before the March 9 deadline.

Meanwhile, Adli may not feature for his side next week against F&F in order to protest against Ameer’s decision not to release the player. Adli have been training with us secretly for the past two weeks and concluded his last training for the coming fixture yesterday. It's not a secret anymore is it?.

The Black Wolf demolished Kacang??? - Nadom

The 1st friendly game for the trimester, the Black Wolf has showed the strong nature to win the tournament with a 4-1 win over Kacang FC. The Black Wolf has control the game with 60% possession throughout the 65 minutes. As far as I’m concerned, the game was 50-50 between Dettol FC and Kacang FC.

There was no passing flow from either of the team but Dettol just have the extra edge in from of goal and the blunder of Kacang’s veteran keeper present the goals for Dettol. There was no teamwork except some silky passes from new signing Dettol FC’s midfielder Lokman. The gap between midfield and defend of the two team was so wide that it showed their fitness level are still low to compete at the highest level.

Ameer as usual showed his true colour by screaming in the middle of the field toward his players. While he himself made several mistakes no one in the team have courage to say anything. This is just a friendly match to see overall performance of his player and I think Ameer should have bench himself and watch his new signings plays. Due to the lack of quality in the game, I would prefer to stay asleep in the house rather than watch the game. - NADOM

F&F’s Nadeem Considering Very Early Retirement

F&F defender Nadeem may leave football when his current deal with F&F ends in 2011 because he feels that his body is not responding the way that he wants it to.

Nadeem may retire from football in two years time when his F&F contract expires.

The Pakistan international defender believes that he is no longer able to play at his best and has revealed that, if he cannot recover his form, then he may well give up the game in 2011.

At just 25, the news will cause a stir among Nadeem's admirers. SDX, in particular, have been making their interest in resigning the player well known.

“I am thinking of quitting in 2011,” he told Le Pakistien. “We are all different. Safuan Jaafar is still playing at the age of 29, and Fatahuddin has just stopped at the age of 23.

“As far as I’m concerned, I feel that my body is not responding as it used to, despite F&F’s medical staff’s quality.

“That’s an option, but at the same time, as a competitor, I know that I will have the desire to carry on. We will see.”

F&F were reported to be ready to include Nadeem in a swap deal to try and lure Iman to F&F, but he has reiterated that he has no intention of being used as a pawn.

“I’m not a piece of meat,” he asserted. “I understand that F&F want ‘Coco’ Iman.. but I won’t to be involved in this business.

“I don’t wish to move on from F&F before two seasons are up.”

Fahrul Better Than Faruk And Dettol’s Shahir - Boynaldo

Fahrul is the best defender in the league at the moment and is set to be the first player since Nadeem to achieve legendary status in the league, Boynaldo said.

Boynaldo believes that Fahrul is Nadeem's rightful successor and thinks that the F&F star is a better player than either Faruk or Shahir.

The F&F’s striker expressed his admiration for the FCM defender and thinks that the F&F have at last found a player that can be called Nadeem's heir.

Fahrul has earned universal praise as his form has continued to improve even more compare to last season for F&F and Boynaldo was full of praise for the player.

"He can do incredible things and is an exceptional player," Sport quote him as saying. "He is Nadeem's successor."

"The two of them are great players, but nobody in the world has the talent that Fahrul has," he added.

Boynaldo is a fan of F&F's short passing game and is confident that they will beat Dettol FC for tommorow’s friendly but will then be tested after that.

"We are playing well, with our traditional style. We pass the ball around well because we have the players for that," he continued. "We are a very good team, but if we are the best or not I do not know.

F&F’s Defender Nadom Arrested Over Assault

F&F’s defender Nadom is the latest player to find himself in hot water...

F&F’s defender Nadom has been arrested and bailed over an alleged nightclub assault on Chinese New Year’s eve.

The 23-year-old was quizzed by police regarding an attack which is said to have occurred in a club in Doraisamy Road, just after midnight on Chinese New Year’s eve. Incredibly, in a separate incident, another man has been nabbed by cops on suspicion of blackmailing the F&F player.

The Doraisamy Road nightclub was the scene of the offence and an 18-year-old victim lodged a complaint to the authorities. Nadom was taken in for questioning, but 'vigorously denies' any involvement and insists that he hasn't been charged.

A F&F spokesman confirmed, "We can confirm that he attended a police station.

"He is fully co-operating with the police with their inquiries. I would like to point out that he has not been charged with any offence and vigorously denies any involvement. The investigation continues and the club remains fully supportive."

The police added, "A 20-year-old man has been arrested after an assault outside a nightclub. The man was arrested on suspicion of section 47 assault by appointment on 4 February.

"He has been bailed until 8 April and enquiries are continuing."

Nadom was linked with an F&F exit, but remains at the club beyond the transfer window.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old Dettol man has been arrested and bailed until March 4 upon suspicion of blackmailing a F&F star.

A police spokesman has said that "enquiries continue."

Currently, Nadom's F&F team-mate Zul and Dettol FC captain Ameer are going through the mill due to their alleged involvement in crimes.
